Project Manager

We’re looking for a talented Project Manager to work with us here at Pro AV Solutions QLD, with a demonstrable project management background in AV, IT, Electronics, or a related field. If this sounds like you, then you could be exactly what we’re looking for. 

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Project Delivery and based in our Brisbane office, you will have the overall responsibility of working with our key and well-established accounts for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of assigned projects.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Thorough project scoping including definition, identifying dependencies, documentation, time and cost estimates, and consulting with relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate project execution including appropriate communication with stakeholders, monitoring KPIs, responding to requirement changes, and monitoring achievement of milestones.
• Financial responsibility for projects including overseeing budget and cashflow, working closely with finance.
• Monitoring risk, including developing contingency plans, escalating potential issues, and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Resource allocation internally and externally managing subcontractor engagements and related documentation.
• Conducting thorough project completion processes, including defect resolutions, producing training materials, thoroughly managing handovers to clients and internal customer service teams, and post-project evaluations.
• Overseeing multiple projects at any one time and being able to prioritise and coordinate in line with company goals and strategy.
• Ensuring projects are appropriately entered into project management tools.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2-years’ experience or have undertaken education in the field of Project Management. You will be: 

• Customer service focused, committed to providing exceptional customer service, with a customer comes first approach to all problem solving.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
• Strong attention to detail when working with others, both internally and externally.
• Maintaining overall awareness of the businesses core values and strategic direction, goals, and objectives, and the ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and to assist and support others as required.
• Always elevating issues and working with teammates to resolve these timely and efficiently, so as not to impact the customer or business in any significant way.
• Time management and organisational skills, to accomplish objectives efficiently within the time frame given and carry out managerial and administrative duties within the role in an efficient and timely manner.
• Proven ability to oversee multiple projects at once.
• Knowledge of delivering technology-style projects would be ideal.

The Package

A salary package can be negotiated for the successful applicant based on qualifications and experience. Over time, vehicle allowances, phone allowances and performance bonuses are available.
