Mipac is a global leader in operational technology encompassing automation, industrial digital solutions and process optimisation. We exist to help our clients extract optimum performance from their operations.
We have a world-leading reputation in metals and mineral processing control and automation, with a long history of successfully delivering large scale process control infrastructure projects and solving operational problems through innovation.
Brisbane based and working globally, we are an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and aim to provide a flexible, professionally rewarding environment. We want our people to be engaged and excited about their personal development opportunities.
Mipac’s Project Managers are technically experienced engineers who embrace the additional responsibilities of project leadership and delivery. They are entrepreneurial, have autonomy and are focused on customer outcomes. They are also versatile and adaptive and are comfortable taking on a dual technical/PM role where the scale and type of project dictates. They embrace their project team responsibilities and enjoy contributing to Mipac’s PM community.
We are seeking additional people to join our project management team to support our current growth and diversification strategy. A range of opportunities exist.
You may be an existing PM or an experienced Control, Electrical or Instrument Engineer who has the desire and aptitude to start moving into a project leadership role. Mipac executes our work in house within a multiskilled and diverse E,I&C and Digital Solutions project delivery environment. Hence being able to plan, monitor and deliver the work execution by your teams is a key part of the role.
You will be based out of our Brisbane head offices. Some travel is anticipated in the future to client sites and for project meetings both nationally and internationally.
You have a diploma, bachelor's or master’s degree in Engineering from a recognised Australian institution (or equivalent). A formal project management qualification or relevant experience is well regarded but not essential. Mipac will assist to acquire these as part of your development plan.
