The RPS Project Management team in Perth currently consists of 32 staff and is continuing to grow. We have a strong workbook for 2022 and beyond, with key projects underwriting our business. RPS seeks a qualified and experienced Project Director to join our Perth client-side project management team to be part of this growth, to be involved with live opportunities with existing clients and to be part of the growth into new clients and sectors. The role will focus on the delivery of large scale projects, attraction and conversion of new opportunities as well as being part of the mentorship and continued development of our high performing team. This role would suit an established industry-leading Project Director or similar, ready to take the next step in their career.


You will hold a tertiary qualification in project management, architecture, engineering, construction management or similar; and have:

  • 15+ years construction and/or project management experience
  • Demonstrated recent experience in a client-side, contractor or design consultant key leadership role in the delivery of large-scale, complex projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in sectors such as Education, Aviation, Health, Commercial, Retail or Residential.
  • A strong understanding and proven experience in building and managing high performing project teams.
  • Effective stakeholder management, communications and leadership skills. 
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong industry connections, demonstrated business development skills and ability to be part of the identification and conversion of growth opportunities.
  • Australian citizenship and holding or successfully obtaining and retaining a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance.
  • AIPM Certified Practising Project Director certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.
