Senior Project Officer Full-Time

Keystone Tasmania facilitates training and workforce development in the Tasmanian building and construction industry. We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic individuals who are committed to the development of a highly skilled, vibrant and sustainable construction industry in Tasmania.

As a member of the Keystone team reporting to the Strategic Projects Manager, this new position will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement workforce development strategies in major Tasmanian infrastructure projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with outstanding project management, stakeholder engagement and training/ workforce planning skills to make a significant difference to the Tasmanian community. 

The successful applicant will:

  • Prepare and execute area-specific internal and external project plans and strategies;
  • Provide high level advice and actionable insights to the Strategic Projects Manager and the Executive team on relevant matters relating to assigned priorities.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders and clients to establish and maintain effective and strong working relationships;
  • Represent and promote Keystone to industry groups, associations and other key stakeholders;
  • Build and maintain productive internal relationships.
  • Develop and present area-specific project plans, budgets and working documents to support project activity;
  • Conduct research and gather relevant data to support planning and project implementation;
  • Report on projects, progress and outcomes as required.

This position is a two-year contract (with the option to extend), on a full-time basis. If you are an interested candidate, but seeking part-time employment, we would still love to hear from you. The roles may require working outside standard office hours and will include regular intrastate travel.  Our office is based in Hobart, however we offer flexible working arrangements and use technology to support our work.  Applications are invited state-wide.
