RPS is seeking a qualified and experienced client-side Project Manager to join our Northern Territory team in Darwin on a permanent basis, to assist in planning and delivering a $2.5 billion portfolio of major Defence projects that will be delivered over the next seven years.

Qualifications

  • Australian citizenship and holding or be able to successfully obtain and retain a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance is mandatory.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated recent construction project experience with client-side and defence project experience desirable
  • Professional qualifications in project management, architectural, engineering, construction management or similar
  • A strong understanding and proven experience in managing construction contracts and contract administration with managing contractor contract experience is highly desirable
  • Strong stakeholder management, communications and leadership skills
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook with Microsoft Project desirable
  • Completed construction site health and safety course
  • AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably
