Program Manager, Land & Environment

Reporting to the Program Delivery Manager, this is a pivotal position on a high-profile project, that will suit an experienced and self-driven individual.

This position will require an individual to coordinate the development and implementation of the project Scope of works. You will be responsible, in consultation with the functional leads, for developing and implementing the strategy to achieve EIS approval and property acquisitions for the major project.

Key responsibilities:

• You will provide clear strategies, plans and coordination of Environment and Land Access requirements to the Project team
• Provide strategic insight and support for the development of community and property owner consultation strategies and plans  
• Liaise with Environment, Land and Access business unit team to develop and drive the program and ensure compliance to existing policies and procedures
• Provide strategic insight and support for the development of community and property owner consultation strategies and plans  
• Identify strategies, efficiencies, and innovations which can be made to reduce expenditure and maintain performance objectives for the projects land acquisition functions

You will have a background in project management, with proven experience managing and delivering land access and/or environmental approvals for a significant linear project.

Additionally, with a strong understanding and experience with NSW and Commonwealth legislation, regulatory frameworks and [procedures governing property access and planning approvals.
