Program Manager

Reporting to the Project Director, this is a pivotal position on a high-profile project, that will suit an experienced and self-driven individual.

A key component of the position will be to manage relationships across multiple stakeholders, coupled with your ability to manage key risks throughout the project life cycle and recommend appropriate resolutions.

This position plays a key part in the planning, identifying, scheduling, implementing, documenting and communicating to optimise project deliverables and minimise risk.

Key responsibilities: 

• Provide input into contract development to maximise efficiencies in the delivery of the programs projects
• You will need to engage with key third-party stakeholders effected by project works to understand their needs and concerns and then taking appropriate actions to maintain effective relationships throughout the project life-cycle
• Comprehension of the project schedule of works and progress throughout the project
• Co-ordinate the development, assessment, negotiation, approval, and execution of commercial agreements
• Provide standardised documentation and regular reporting to the Project Director and other key stakeholders
• Development of the project management interface control systems
• You will need to communicate with various project functions leads, to resolve technical issues
• Understand and communicate complex technical and commercial issues to the satisfaction of key stakeholders

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working with infrastructure projects, with experience in mega infrastructure projects being viewed upon favorably. You will have a sound understanding of policy, legislation and processes involved in planning for delivering major projects.  
  
Key to your success will be your ability to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, combined with excellent communication skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally, with a partnering approach to achieving the desired project outcomes.
