The Project Manager, Operations is the key project management position at Melbourne Zoo and reports to the General Manager Operations. The role supports and collaborates with the Asset Manager in the staged delivery of asset upgrades through the annual Property Operations Plan. The primary purpose of this role is delivery of a fluctuating range of minor works, through to major capital projects. The position is responsible also for developing five year plans for future project delivery in line with the Melbourne Zoo Master plan.

Have a well-developed understating of building construction standards, permit and authorities requirements as well as safety and maintenance requirements

Have experience and knowledge of public sector processes and standards in procurement and risk management.

Have exemplary project skills that can quickly be applied to the 17/18 delivery program.
